Join us at our #bureaucracyhack and help solve problems that will make our working lives easier and let us focus on the user.
Thanks to Hackney Council for letting us use the Tomlinson Centre for the day.
We’re not doing this because we hate bureaucracy. We’re doing this because we know what good bureaucracy looks like. We want to help each other get past the frustrating process so we can remember what we’re trying to achieve.
We want to hack problems that:
Could be solved (or prototyped) in roughly a day — day-sized
Can be easily grasped without too much domain knowledge — approachable
Leads to a real difference — makes time for public servants to create more value — tangible
Is a problem we can actually do something about — actionable
Happens in lots of different places in the public sector — structural
